Background
The firm had to that point paid outside companies to arrange for the production of these expert reports, effectively outsourcing the work. I wanted to investigate if this work could be done more profitably in house.
Project Summary
- Analysis of the cost of the 2 current outsourcing suppliers, incl our internal cost
- Meeting with a number of companies offering assistance with the processes for running this in house
- Analysis of the various options : costs (internal & external), process, regulatory compliance, profit, service levels/quality control
- Comparing all of these factors : in-house v outsourcing
- Modelling : financial and process
- Preparation of proposal paper
