COLP & COFA Regular Review

So you’ve got to have someone nominated as the COLP and COFA. There’s no getting around that. Somehow you have to fit that in around client work, running your firm and getting the work in! Whilst ultimately you shouldn’t outsource the role and responsibility – you can get some help with it.

For firms using the LEAP software only. We carry out a monthly review for the COLP & COFA with a report drawing out the main themes and making recommendations. This helps with:

  1. Freeing up some of your time AND
  2. Having an independent experienced pair of eyes looking at files and highlighting issues – calling on our experience to all levels in practice in a solicitors firm and also our experience of over 400 law firms

£250 + VAT/month for the monthly review

(We also carry thi review out a review every Quarter for some firms. Arrangements, what is to be covered will be bespoked around your needs. Pricing to be negotiated accordingly.)

What we will do

  • Review of the main reports the COLP should be reviewing, with a file of the reports run for that month
  • Review of 2 matters for COFA & COLP compliance & against your risk policy
  • Provide you with completed review forms for your records (by email)
  • The email will have a digest highlighting issues

All work is carried out remotely and in the strictest of confidence. You will need to give us login details and let us know when we may use them. Taste & See: we are happy to discuss an initial 2 month retainer so you may see if this helpful. (Example docs can be supplied.) If for a different frequency we will negotiate terms.
